My Survey

Walt:Plan an investigation and display data.

My double bar graph is about fun things. My question is “ What do you enjoy doing for fun?” I have surveyed the children from Glen Innes School on the senior and middle part of the school.My sample number is fifty. I have chosen fun because everyone likes to have fun outside and with their friends and I wanted to see what they do for fun. I have found out that boys and girls play sports for fun.  I have found out that boys and girls do not like to exercise. Maybe they have chosen sports because they want to get fit and they might want to get good at sports. They might have not chosen exercise because it is boring and it is not fun. The survey was very easy. Next time I might do a survey about sports because since they have chosen sports, I want to know what kind of sports they like to play.

Prime Numbers

I have been learning to do prime numbers. I have to put my cursor over the balloon and answer if that balloon is a prime number or not. If it is a prime number I press yes, but if it is not I press no.I have to pop balloons so that if a blue colour needs one more to make the squares white it will go down and the three balloons will pop. This game is really easy and next time I want to learn squares and square roots.

Putting percentages in order

I have been learning to put the percentages in order from smallest to biggest. I had just put the smallest number first and then kept going in order till I got to the highest number which was 96. This was very simple and next time I want to learn powers of numbers.

LCM

I have been learning to do LCM. I have to target the right fruit that has the correct answer on it. My question is what is the LCM of 4 and 6. The correct answer is 12. I skip counted in 4. 4, 8, 12. I skip counted in 6. 6,12. I have found out that 12 is the least common multiple. This was very easy and next time I want to learn powers of numbers.

Georgia O'keeffe Abstract Flowers Cold/warm

I have been studying art by Georgia O'keeffe. I have drawn and painted an abstract flower just like hers. I have been learning about cold and warm colours. I have used cold colours which are violet, green and blue.
